The Museum of Fine Arts is in itself a direct successor of the Central Gallery of Bohemia; the collections of this museum are filled with treasures, this is a veritable archive of Czech art history…
Take the time to tour the museum to gain an understanding of the art scene during the Second World War, how art evolved and how it was influenced by the events taking place. Three groups were particularly influential in this development: Skupina 42 (Group 42), Ra, and Sedm v ríjnu (the October Seven).
