Sailing boats, models of atoms, windmills, space probes, steam trains, industrial robots, organs, life rafts and much more...
This vast collection of technological wonders are all part of the Deutsches Museum's superb collection.
This science and technology museum in Munich is not only one of the most important in the morld, but also the most visited; and, with a surface of 50,000m2, one of the largest. The laws of nature, sophisticated instruments and the most advanced scientific processes are presented here with great precision and imagination: the contents of the museum will capture the young and the old alike.
The museum has two annexes: the transport centre (Verkehrszentrum), next to the old exhibition halls and the aeronautical section (Flugwerft), located in the grounds of a former aeroplane factory in Oberschleißheim.
